Rules of Library

All members/users making use of the available assets in the campus library must have regard to and respect for the library policies of the campus.

1. The students must maintain silence and switch off their mobile phones in the library premises.
2. The students must carry the library card to get books issued /returned.
3. The loss of library card should be immediately reported to the college library so that a duplicate card may be issued. The new card may be issued to readers by depositing Rs100/-.
4. Reference books are meant for reference purposes only and shall not be taken out of the library.
5. The membership card is not transferable.
6. The member cannot get issued more than three books on different subjects at a time.
7. Books should be returned within 14 days from the date of issue. Otherwise Rs 2/- per book per day will be charged as fine against delay deposition of books beyond the due date.
8. Loss of any borrowed books must be reported immediately to the library staffs. The member must replace the lost books /cost of the books as per library rule.
9. Bag, personal belongings are not allowed inside library. These must be kept at the property counter at own risk.
10. Eating , drinking ,sleeping and smoking are not allowed in the library.
11. Marking , scratching ,damaging , mutilating , stealing library materials or property will invite disciplinary action against the defaulters.
